ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES We provide nice towels and home comforts in your room like tissues, cotton buds, and cotton wool. There are either en-suite or shared bathroom facilities. Almost all our lovely rooms have spectacular uninterrupted views of Blackdown, the highest point of the Mendip Hills, and across the Severn Estuary to Wales. A cot and high chair is available.
Breakfast is continental, and normally includes quality muesli, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast with marmalade & jams or croissants, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Most of our breakfast ingredients are either organic, local or high quality, such as Yeo Valley yoghurts, made here in Blagdon. Breakfast is served, buffet-style, in the dining room, which is in the old part of the cottage. It has beamed ceilings, a window seat, a French Godin woodburner and a sitting area where you can relax, listen to the radio or just 'tune in' to the birds outside the window. We are regularly visited by robins, bluetits, coaltits, long-tailed tits, sparrows and songthrushes, just to mention a few. Every spring 'our' swallows return to nest in our stables, usually raising several lots of chicks. We also have Tawny Owls close by, we hear them in the garden in the evening and see them flying over our field. It's a wonderful location rich in wildlife and we are very happy to be able to share it with our guests. We want all our guests to be delighted with the standards of cleanliness and fresh, airy environment in the Cottage, therefore we have a strict no smoking policy inside the house. Mobile Home B&B
