Welcome to our cottage B&B

Welcome to our lovely cottage on the Mendip Hills near Bristol, Bath, Cheddar, Wells and Somerset. Ideally situated for a relaxing break, airport stopovers, business stays, business meetings, team-building events, and walking holidays. We invite you to enjoy the charm and character of our 'Cottage B&B' or our cosy self-catering holiday caravan. Both have the most outstanding views across the Severn Estuary to the Welsh Hills.

Offering a breath of fresh air and a complete change of pace, we are situated on a quiet lane on the outskirts of Blagdon village in the heart of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with footpaths on the doorstep, lambs in the field next door, ponies in the paddock, and spectacular panoramic views over the hills, woodland and across to Wales. We offer non-smoking accommodation in pretty rooms with single, twin/double or family occupancy. All our rooms have free wifi Click to email: Ashcroft B&B

You will find blissful peace and quiet, home from home comfort, spotless rooms, comfy beds, breathtaking views and a warm and friendly West Country welcome. We offer outstanding value, and a delightfully quiet, yet convenient, location. We are environment and people-friendly, using Ecover cleaning products & largely organic and/or locally sourced breakfast ingredients including organic yogurt from award-winning Yeo Valley, located in our village. We offer sustainable countryside activity weekends including wild food foraging, bushcraft, 'go wild' activities including archery. Our guests say: "best night's sleep I've had in decades", "wonderful hospitality", "every effort made to assure our comfort", "room was beautifully clean, comfortable & well presented", "wonderful views", "people-oriented hosts, friendly, very approachable, marvellous service, a great pleasure", "great service for a reasonable price", "we spent quality time at Ashcroft, I would recommend it".

The Holiday Caravan

We also have a lovely holiday caravan, available for short stays from 1 night to a week or more. It has a sitting room with TV/DVD player, kitchen with electric cooker & fridge, shower room, two bedrooms and a deck outside, and can sleep up to 6. Please contact us for pricing and availability.

Views from the cottage & holiday caravan are truly outstanding.

It's a great location to explore all the best West Country attractions including Bath, Wells, Cheddar, Wookey, Weston Super Mare, the Mendip Hills and the Chew Valley, with friendly pubs and visitor attractions here in Blagdon village and nearby.

Come and explore the many attractions of the West Country... if you tire of the views and the stunning sunsets, there is plenty more on our doorstep to keep you occupied.
